We do…

Make your wedding ceremony as unique as you are!

Jeannette would be pleased – and honored – to officiate at your wedding in Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet, or anywhere else on Cape Cod! She holds a M.Div from Yale University Divinity School, and performs everything from handfastings to formal liturgies to simple “I do” ceremonies on the beach. She believes in the importance of ritual to mark life's milestones and will work with you to shape a ceremony that makes sense uniquely for you. “I’m just honored to be part of your story.”

The first thing you need to know is that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires a three-day waiting period between applying for your marriage license (in person, in Massachusetts) and picking it up (also in person).

This requirement may impact your plans and schedule.

There is a way around it: you may go to district court to apply for a waiver, which is always granted. You can then take that waiver to the town clerk and receive your license immediately. Note that Provincetown Town Hall closes at noon on Fridays.

Jeannette can help you with all the specifics.

"Jeannette was fantastic – so flexible and accommodating. She was way more ready than we were with everything and just made the whole process so simple"
